Eagle Vines Golf Club is the place to be Friday, April 9, for the Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament. New this year is the 12:00 noon shotgun start time. This allows you the opportunity to go into work for a couple of hours and then get an early start on your weekend at the Golf Course with business associates, clients, friends and family.

Golf Committee members Bill Cawley–Benicia Plumbing, Inc., Tom Gavin–Gavin and Schreiner Insurance, Greg Kaufman–Kaufman Chiropractic, and Mark Lobdell–Lobdell Investments & Wealth Management have kept the price to participate the same as last year, making it affordable for all. Cost to be a Tournament Sponsor is a steal at $750 which includes golf with carts for 4, a hole sponsor sign, complimentary gift for each member of your foursome, and recognition at the ribs and chicken barbeque awards dinner. Sign up a foursome prior to April 1, for $500 to receive golf with a cart and a barbeque awards dinner.

Not a golfer? You can still participate! Interactive hole sponsors are a big hit with the golfers. You pay $100, provide a giveaway of value or conduct a game with a prize out on the golf course, a fun way to promote your business and network with the golfers. Just want the golfers to see your business name out on the course as a sponsor of both the Chamber and the event, you pay $100 and a sign will be provided for you on the course for all to see. Prizes for the drawing and auction are most welcome – your name will appear in the golf program if your donation is received by April 1, 2010. Of course cash donations are always appreciated and new ideas are welcome. If you can’t make it to the course that day, come out and have dinner and a good time with us following the tournament. It’s sure to be the social event of the season! Reservations are required and cost is $35 per person. Registration forms are included in this month’s newsletter.
