The Chamber's popular Business After Hours serves two main purposes, an opportunity for the host company to promote and showcase their business in addition to providing a platform for Chamber members to network with other business owners and employees. An example...recently a Benicia business owner who was ordering most of his supplies from back east met a representative from another Benicia based company who offered those same hard to find supplies right here in his own backyard. Another example of networking at it's best....a company ran into hurdles within the industry that were impeding his business. He met someone at a Business After Hours who had recently experienced and cleared those same hurdles and was willing to share the information with his new acquaintance....end result, time and money saved and a new business relationship formed. Business After Hours are typically held the third Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at various business locations. There is no charge for Chamber members, their employees or guests; potential members $15.
