City of Benicia Offers Public Transportation to Industrial Park

Beginning September 2002, the City of Benicia offers a new public transportation service to the Benicia Industrial Park. The Industrial Park Shuttle will be known as the “Benicia Rocket” and will offer service to and from Solano Square accommodating transfer patrons from out lying areas. For people who don’t drive, want to avoid the traffic, or just prefer public transportation, the City Council has agreed to a six-month trial period for the shuttle service. Schedules are available at the Chamber office and the Finance Department at City Hall. Questions may be addressed by calling Benicia Transit 745-0815.
