The Benicia Chamber of Commerce broadcast fax/email auction began on Thursday, October 6, 2005 and will end at midnight, Friday, November 4th. Chamber members were faxed/emailed a list of Auction items and encouraged to fax, phone, or email their bids to Chamber staff (707-745-2120 / fax 707-745-2275 / email: beniciachamber@aol.com). Once a week members have been receiving updates showing the highest bid. They then have an opportunity to fax, phone, or email back a higher bid. There is one more week to go - don't be left out!

In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the auction, bidders will be contacted by Chamber staff and given the chance to "up" the bid. If parties do not wish to raise the bid, the first highest bid received wins.
