Everyone is invited to attend this year's New Year's Eve Celebration at the historic Clocktower. The evening begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 7:30 p.m. which will be followed by a sit-down gourmet dinner, including a delicious salad, a mixed grill entree of mesquite grilled petite filet of certified Angus beef tenderloin and grilled filet of Pacific red salmon prepared with mouth watering marinades and salsas. Dessert is a decadent warm chocolate volcano torte with Grand Marnier creme anglaise and raspberry coulis.
"Struttin," a well-known, popular local band will provide music to dance the night away. Party favors and a glass of champagne to toast the New Year are included in the ticket price of $75 per person. To add to the festivities, there may just be a few surprise auction items!
The Benicia Board of Directors announced that this is the Chamber's largest fundraiser of the year and the Board is pleased to contribute a portion of the proceeds from the event to the Benicia Unified School District. Another example of community, business and education partnering for a better Benicia.
To date, many businesses have generously offered their support by sponsoring the event at various levels. Black Tie Sponsors include Hamman Real Estate, Solano Bank, Valero Refining Company-CA, and BizNet. Champagne Sponsors include Pleasant Hill Bayshore Disposal and Metropolitan Van and Storage; and Confetti Sponsors are Dr. Jeanine Nordeen DDS, Gary Kalian, and Chicago Title. Contributing as Event Supporters are Dr. Ronald Tosch DDS, Network Solutions, Benicia Plumbing, John & Tammi Fabris, Cullen-Sherry & Associates, Dr. John Comyns DDS, Benicia Fabrication and Machine, Lane Safety, and Gavin & Schreiner. If you would like to join this prestigious group, sponsorship opportunities are still available by calling the Benicia Chamber of Commerce staff.
Even if you are not a big fan of New Year's Eve parties you can still contribute and offer your support by purchasing raffle tickets. First prize is $2004 cash, second prize is $1000 cash, and third prize $500 cash. Tickets are available for just $10 each or 6 for $50. The winning tickets will be drawn at the New Year's Eve event and you do not have to be present to win. Wouldn't a little extra cash be a great way to start the New Year? Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber office or by contacting a Chamber Ambassador.
Reservations are required as a limited number of tickets are available and may be purchased until December 27th. Checks, Visa and MasterCard are accepted at the Benicia Chamber of Commerce, located at 601 First Street. For additional information call the Chamber at 707-745-2120.
