The Benicia Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for Outstanding Business of the Year. Tell us in 250 words or less why the nominated business is deserving of this award (informal, simple format acceptable) and attach any newspaper clippings, brochures or other materials that detail the contributions by the business.

Due date to submit a nomination is Friday, January 9, 2009. A business may be nominated in the 1-3 Employee category, 4-24, and 25 & over employee categories.

Nomination Criteria:
Demonstrates ethics and integrity in business practices.
Demonstrates leadership and excellence through customer service, employee development, safety, creativity, and innovation.
Demonstrates commitment to supporting and promoting Benicia Chamber of Commerce activities.

The winners of the 16th annual Outstanding Business of the Year Awards will be announced at the Installation of Officers Banquet on January 23, 2009 at the Benicia Clocktower.
